Higher Education Scholarship Fund
Since 2004, the Higher Education Scholarship Fund has provided students from Bediani Children’s Village and Dzegvi Shelter Community with the financial support to achieve their higher education goals.
In many cases, facilities for orphaned youth are only able to provide financial assistance until children reach the age of 18. Through the Scholarship Fund, AFG is stopping the cycle of poverty and allowing those with difficult pasts to go on to greater opportunities.
ABOUT
The Scholarship Fund covers undergraduate university tuition, housing, textbooks and school supplies.
Many students from this program have gone on to receive master’s degrees and have been able to pursue various careers with great success.
