We have wonderful news! The American Friends of Georgia auction night is back -- but with a twist: the auction will be held online and it is live for preview! Take some time now to peruse our wonderful auction items, which comprise everything from original art to a hand-woven carpet to handmade crafts to exotic tours to a basketball signed by Steph Curry and other Golden State Warriors players to an antique map to cooking classes and more! More beautiful and unique items will be added in the coming weeks. The auction opens for bidding at noon on Sunday, June 13th and closes during AFG's Virtual Gala on Saturday the 26th of June.
You will have almost two weeks to gaze longingly at prints by celebrated Georgian artist Eteri Chkadua, drool over bottles of Georgian wine, be moved by photos of a Georgian convent captured by Italian-American photographer Robert Presutti, lick your lips over the prospect of Georgian cooking classes, and imagine a ReWoven Sevan Kazak carpet under your feet or hand-embroidered linens on your table.
Not only can you bid on unique Georgian treasures and experiences, but you will be helping the important charity work that AFG is carrying out in Georgia. Now that's a win-win.
Stay tuned for information about how to attend our virtual event on June 26. Plan a viewing party! Invite your friends, have some fun, and support the important work we do.
